The Lewes Ferry Terminal is a 50-minute drive south of Dover, via US 113 and Route 1 to Route 9 in Lewes.

The Cape May-Lewes Ferry provides vehicle and passenger transportation across the Delaware Bay, year round. But the ferry is not just for transportation - it’s for fun!  The 70-minute bay crossing provides plenty of time to relax on board in climate-controlled comfort. The ferry gift shop offers nautical momentos, keepsakes, and travel conveniences. Food services are available in several lounge areas. And the view of the bay and other ships is great.

Trolley service is available at both terminals to transport foot passengers to the towns of Cape May, New Jersey and Lewes Delaware. Shuttles and trollies run April through December, daily from mid-June to mid-October and on weekends during spring and fall. The Ferry also offers scheduled tour packages for walk-on visitors, shopping promotions throughout the year, and special buffet cruises.

Ferry reservations are required for buses and other groups. Call for more information and a current ferry schedule.
