Meeting Facilities

Fairgrounds open daily. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission to the fairgrounds is free. Call for ticket prices for major events. Located on US 13 south of Route 14.

The Quillen Arena is a multi-purpose covered facility, unique to the Mid-Atlantic region. At 80,500 square feet, with permanent seating for up to 2100 people, the arena has sufficient room to host a wide variety of events. The Quillen Arena features horse shows, livestock shows, rodeos, circuses, concerts, and auto shows. The facility is also for rent to event producers. The arena has a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system, a dirt surface on the show floor surrounded by fencing, ample restrooms and parking, and a practice ring adjacent to the arena.

A support facility, the Schabinger Pavilion next door, provides livestock stalls and care equipment. The Pavilion is also offering a new birthing facility, where visitors can watch horses and cows being born and learn about animal husbandry.

Quillen Arena permanent bleacher seating capacity is up to 2100 people. Portable bleachers can expand seating to 2,700 patrons. The Quillen Arena can host horse shows, livestock shows, rodeos, circuses, concerts, auto shows, and other large events. The arena is located on the Delaware State Fairgrounds, with Midway Slots and Simulcast and Harrington Raceway. RV camping space is available on-site for multi-day group events.
