Meeting Facilities

Fairgrounds open daily. Year-round office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to most year-round activities on the fairgrounds are free. During the annual fair in July, children 9 and under are admitted free, adult admission is regularly $5; discounts and special deals are offered. Visit the web site or call for details. Located on US

The Delaware State Fairgrounds is a growing entertainment complex, site of Midway Slots and Simulcast, Harrington Raceway, Quillen Arena, The Centre Ice Rink, the annual Delaware State Fair, and numerous year-round events.

The Delaware State Fair, held during the last two weeks in July, welcomes over 320,000 visitors to enjoy the carnival midway rides, headline entertainers, local culinary treats, farm animal and produce competitions, handmade crafts, and much more. During the fair, special train excursions are available from
Wilmington to the fairgrounds and beyond.

The fairgrounds have undergone millions of dollars of improvements since 1996. Gaming patrons now enjoy the expanded slots casino, with its schedule of dinner concerts, and the warm-weather live harness racing at Harrington
aceway. Simulcast wagering (off-track betting) is offered daily. The Quillen Arena hosts horse shows, livestock shows, rodeos, circuses, concerts, and auto shows. Street rod shows, auto races, motorcycle races and rallies, and popular concerts are also held at the fairgrounds.

Tour Tips: Tours are not offered of the Fairgrounds per se, but the individual venues, attractions, and events provide great group entertainment options. Ample motorcoach parking. 

Meeting Facilities
Meeting spaces for up to 2000 people.
Air conditioned, fully enclosed 15,000 sq. ft. Dover Building and 10,000 sq. ft. Exhibit Hall are available for banquets, trade shows, and performances for 1,000+ people. Board Room in Exhibit Hall for up to 100 people, smaller meeting room for 30-50 people. Clubhouse seating (Wilmington Trust Grandstand) for up to 350 people. Food service on-site, catering and bar
available, buffet or a-la-carte meals. Quillen Arena seating capacity is up to 2000 people.
