Group Tours

Open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the third Saturday each month, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Closed holidays. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. Located on US 13 in Dover at the Delaware State Police Headquarters, just north of Dover Mall.

Visitors to this new museum can feel the bravery and commitment of those who “protect and serve.” The exhibits are impressive, with stylish uniforms, firearms, a 1946 Ford patrol car, two antique Harley Davidson motorcycles, a crime scene where visitors look for clues, and a 911 emergency call center. The exhibits explore changes in crime-fighting techniques and technology of the Delaware State Police from 1926 to the present. Visitors may also tune in to live radio communications from the Dover Air Force Base and local airports.

Tour Tips: Motorcoach parking available on-site. Educational program topics include Law enforcement methods, substance abuse prevention efforts, and highway safety efforts.
