3rd Annual Wine and Beer Festival...Delaware's "Official" Wine & Beer Event

Get your taste buds fired up for the Third Annual Delaware Wine & Beer Festival, sponsored by Kent County Tourism and set for Sunday, October 21.. The event is another production of the non-profit Kent County Tourism, which also produces the annual Dover Days Festival and the Amish Country Bike Tour. Here are points of interest:
Previous events proved to be wildly popular with approximately 2,500 beer and wine lovers attending.
Admission, which will include 10 samples, will be $25 in advance with and $35 at the door.
A limited number of tickets will be sold this year. Advance ticket buyers will receive a souvenir wine or beer glass at no additional charge. Advance ticket sales will end October 15, 2012.
Non-tasting admission is $5 (designated drivers, etc.) and free to children 12 and younger.
Full pours of wine and beer will be available for sale along with non-alcoholic beverages and food provided by local restaurants.

Festival-goers will have the opportunity to meet Delaware's vintners and brewers and talk about their locations, their products and their processes. Tours of the winery will be available throughout the day, and the retail shop will be open. Participating to date are:

The event will be held rain or shine. If rain occurs, the event will be moved inside the museum. A limited number of admission tickets may be sold at the door, if not sold out in advance.
